Brandmark and food: The Augustana A in my salad

I think this is when a brandmark has reached it’s full potential! Since Augustana launched the new A, which resembles arches on campus, I’ve seen it carved into pumpkins, on lapel pins and as temporary tattoos. I’ve liked each of those treatments, but this puff pastry in my salad the other night takes the cake (food pun intended). Not only did this look great and capture the attention of the dinner guests, it tasted great! Kudos goes out to the great folks in Dining Services for their creativity and to the folks in Communications and Marketing for not getting bent out of shape about a great application of the brandmark.
